The Hess Ranch is the home for 2 types of goat herds, pygmy and angora and chickens which are housed in stalls. The area next to the stalls need to be cleaned up. The shrubs and tall grass are overgrown and need to be trimmed. Additionally, some debris will also need to be put into the dumpster. If time permits minor stall repairs will be performed.
Cadets will need to wear work clothes. Long pants and boots along with a cover and sunblock. Bring hydration and snacks. Lunch will be provided.
I will provide the gloves and tools needed.
MANDATORY - CADETS SHOULD BE DROPPED OFF. PARKING ALONG BAYSIDE DRIVE. Steel Toed boots are required for drills located on USCGC Narwhal.

Cadets and volunteers will be assembling 5,000 packages for our troops overseas. Cadets will work together in assembly line formation to consolidate all the items that have collected on an Amazon Wish List into gallon-size Ziploc bags. There will also be an assembly line for families with young children to volunteer at their own pace. All families and all ages are welcome at this event. Volunteers will also be writing thank you letters to our brave heroes.
El Toro Battalion will provide the Colorguard and volunteers.
ETB COLORGUARD WILL PRESENT THE COLORS - APPROXIMATELY 500 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE.
Arrival time is 11:-00- 11:30am. 12:15pm will be presentation of the Colors and the unit should be done by 12:20pm.
