League Cadets may participate in a wide variety of training opportunities to introduce them to the maritime services and a variety of career fields. There is an optional week-long “Navy League Orientation” available to these young men and women.

The USNSCC Cadet Code of Conduct is a set of rules and guidelines that all cadets in the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) must adhere to. These rules are designed to promote discipline, respect, and responsibility among cadets, and outline the behavior expected of them while participating in USNSCC activities. The code of conduct includes rules regarding personal conduct, respect for others, adherence to orders, and representing the USNSCC in a positive manner. Violations of the code of conduct can result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the program. It is essential for all cadets to understand and follow the USNSCC Cadet Code of Conduct in order to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
